Our solution provides (Opportunistic TLS).  The material is sent encrypted… this covers the sender.  The recipient can open it, thus un-encrypting the packet, making it unsecured 

If the recipient is another entity that should be compliant, (Orthodontist, Specialist, Insurer, etc) suppgest to the recipient to implement a compliant solution so both you and the recipient will be protecting your patients information.

If the recipient is a patient and can’t be expected to be compliant, this is remedied with a 3rd party solution or is given a password for secured patient directory and can access records in their folder. 

Yes, we have options you can use for Archiving e-mails for the specified amount of time. 

For Document Sharing, the platform needs to be encrypted.  The client, dental specialists,

doctors, etc. who have individual password encrypted access from the external portal must

not be able to access other patient files except for those items that are in their folder or in the

public folders.
